About

Mr. Fesner Petion grew up in Miami-Little Haiti and attended Miami Edison High School. A product of hard working-class Haitian immigrant parents, and having started working at the age of 16; he is no stranger to strong work ethics, determination and tenacity. I was blessed to grow up in Miami’s under-privileged communities and was forced to experience and witness firsthand the trials, tribulations and disparate treatments suffered by minority and immigrant communities. That was by far the best educational experiences of my life, which has certainly shaped my career orientation, social awareness and a vision to assist and effectively represent the interests of my community. These core values represent “ Petion Law” and the firm’s objectives. 

Mr. Petion began his professional career in 1993 with a (T.P.A.) Third Party Administrator, WorldNet Services Corporation, as a claims adjuster responsible to resolve claims for Travel Medical Insurance, HMO related claims, Managed Care, Baggage Insurance and Trip Interruption Insurance for major international insurance companies.

Thereafter and on December 1995, I went to work for Progressive Casualty Insurance Company as a Claims Representative, where for 12 years; I was involved in managing, investigating, negotiating and settling claims of coverage, collision, fire and theft, property damage, liability and personal injuries from auto accidents. Within 2 years, I was  promoted as the Manager-Team Leader for claims operations with increased responsibilities to oversee a team of generalists that handled the most complex coverage, liability and injuries claims. While working at Progressive Casualty Insurance Company, I completed graduate school in business; earned an (M.B.A.) and then went on to law school to complete my legal studies.

In addition, I was an exemplary Judge Panelist for Arbitration Forums, Inc, a non- profit insurance industry based organization, from 1999 through 2005, where as a Judge panelist, I resolved disputes among insurance companies on claims related matters by making appropriate rulings and awards according to complaints and answers filed by the parties, including and based on evidence, contentions and guide rules, which are promulgated by insurance laws.

After law school, I joined the Office of General Counsel- Trial Division for United Automobile Insurance Company, where I concentrated my practice in the defense of (P.I.P.) Personal Injury Protection lawsuits against the insurance company brought by Chiropractors, Physicians, other Medical Providers and Individuals. I bring to the client a unique combination of 27 years of combined professional claims and legal experiences; along with a proven track record of winning Multi-million dollars for one single case. These defense and corporate skills while defending and managing resources for insurance companies, coupled with a long and successful academic background give me an invaluable edge in representing individuals against big insurance companies and private businesses in a broad range of legal matters. Given my unique legal and industry experiences in all aspects of Insurance Litigation, I am best equipped to litigate your insurance matters and to obtain the highest awards for the injuries and the wrongs, which were committed upon you.
